At Merritt Island Volunteer Fire Department , we have been proudly serving the Merritt Island community since 1951. Our dedicated team operates a variety of vehicles, including a Pierce Fire Engine and a Brush Truck, to ensure we are always ready to respond to emergencies. We are a dual-occupied firehouse located within Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 41, providing vital support as an additional response unit. We are constantly seeking passionate individuals to join our ranks as firefighters, EMTs, and Paramedics. Being a volunteer emergency responder is not just a job; it is a rewarding experience that makes a difference in the lives of others.
