About MERRITT ISLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

We are a volunteer organization that aims to make a difference in the world by saving lives and property by being committed to proactive public safety programs and excellence in operational performance. With our dedication we will accomplish this through the delivery of fire prevention and education, training, suppression,  emergency medical services and emergency incident management.  These programs shall provide the highest levels of customer service through our 100% based voluntee organization.

At MERRITT ISLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT we believe everyone has the power to makes positive impact, no matter how big or small.

We recently encountered a large repair bill for our Pierce Engine that took us out of service for a short while.  We are back in service and running calls with Brevard County.   

MIVFD Needs your help to pay this $42,000.00 bill.  

All donations to MIVFD are for:

• Maintenance for the Pierce Engine, brush truck and utility vehicle.
• Safety equipment... Bunker gear for structure fires
  and light bunker gear for fighting brush fires, air packs
  and air bottles, gloves, helmet, boots
• Communication  2 way radios and equipment  

      Any donation big or small will be appreciated!!!
